Prince Edward Theatre

A theatre with a chequered career, by the early 1990s the Prince Edward needed extensive upgrading and reburbishment to ensure its future as a venue for live musical theatre.

Arts Team brought a much needed sense of theatrical intimacy in the auditorium by improving the use of space and adding elements such as boxes and loges. The whole of the interior was unified in colour and style, the restored flamboyant Art Deco details raising the spirits and helping to build a sense of audience excitement and anticipation.
